To Parents with a Girl with Natural Curly Hair?

I have a 23 month old girl with natural curly hair (which she gets from me). What shampoo and condition or combination shampoo/conditioner do you use on your toddler girl? I currently use Johnson & Johnson’s shampoo for curly hair so it doesn’t hurt her eyes if it gets in her eyes. Are there any other products out there that wouldn’t hurt her eyes? Something you can buy at Target, Wal-Mart, or a salon?

You know on my curly headed son I have found Loreal for Kids to make for softer hair with less tangles then Johnson & Johnson anything. Weleda’s baby shampoo is far superior too, it just seems to me that J&J makes for hair that tangles easily and is more rough (cuticles are roughened).

As for the hair when it gets longer, what worked for me the best was grease – specifically Vidal Sassoon’s tube of conditioning oil, but that’s kind of old school now. The best thing to do with long curly hair is to put conditioner on the ends, use shampoo only on the scalp, and then condition again.
