Just showing you guys the braided style I did on my hair for my trip to Miami. The products I used are my SimplyNatural Leave in and SimplyNatural Shea Butter. To maintain this style, I just wear my bonnet at night and I shake in the morning. I have not retwisted yet and it’s been 5 days. Enjoy!

While transitioning to natural hair- Here, I show how I do my braid out and maintain the hairstyle without re-braiding my hair every night. This is my weekly routine. Most of us are too busy or not in the mood to re-braid our hair everyday, which is why I share how I maintain my hairstyle each day and night. I hope this video help others out there. The key thing is, pull all hair UPWARD so as you sleep the krinkles/curls stay nice on top. Be creative, Be motivated, and Push yourself! Follow me on my journey to natural hair by subscribing :)

Curly Set on Natural Hair

July 14th, 2009 No comments

Curly Set on natural 4A/B hair. No heat is required for this style. You will only need castor oil (or you preferred twist product), and an optional rat-tail comb for separation.

If you are a 4A/B type natural I really recommend trying castor oil. Its thick enough to coat and smooth the hair but not really oily and absorbs into the hair without weighing it down.
